Johns Creek Student Athlete Signs Letter of Intent with Florida

Michael Taylor will attend the University of Florida on a swimming scholarship.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, Johns Creek High School senior Michael Taylor participated in his athletic signing ceremony.

Michael will be attending University of Florida on a Swimming scholarship.

Michael has been a swimmer for nine years, including all four years at Johns Creek High School.

His accomplishments include being a three-time GHSA State Champ; GHSA State record holder in the 100 Backstroke; Junior World Record holder in 200m Backstroke, 2016-2017 United States National Team Member; 5th place at US Olympic Trials 100m Backstroke; three-time gold medalist 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, 2-time USA Swimming Junior National Champion; 3-time Silver Medalist at 2015 Jr. World Championship.
