Johns Creek Adult Co-Ed Softball Season Starts Aug. 23

Registration runs through July 29 and is $450 per team.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- It's time to grab your glove oil and cleats, and round up some friends or co-workers for some softball!

The city of Johns Creek's fall co-ed adult softball league is in the midst of registering participants for its seventh-year of the slow-pitch game.

Registration will run through Friday, July 29, and is limited to the first eight teams that sign up.

The registration fee is $450 per team, plus $15 for each non-resident player on the team roster. The season, which starts Aug. 23 and wraps up Oct. 18, consists of seven regular-season games per team plus a single-elimination championship tournament if weather permits.

The hour-long games are played Tuesdays at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Ocee Park at 10900 Buice Road -- unless they're rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Registration forms are online. A city Rec 1 account is required for registration, and can be filled out online as well.
