Johns Creek Advantage Launch Awards For Businesses

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Johns Creek Advantage is rolling out two new ways to recognize businesses and their leaders.

The Movers & Shakers award will shine a spotlight on these entities who are "doing excellent hings for the community and deserve to be recognized for moving and shaking things up," the organization said in its August newsletter.

People can nominate their favorite business in Johns Creek based on their experience with the business or their knowledge of that business’s commitment to the economic prosperity, quality of life and positive reputation of Johns Creek.

Companies, team members and other people can nominate an employee of a company located in Johns Creek. Nominations should highlight that team member’s commitment to furthering the direction of the business in a positive and innovative manner.

These nominations can alsoinclude someone who’s research, design, or innovation has furthered the prosperity of the company, a team member that has created or furthered a company initiative, or a team member that is positively involved in the Johns Creek community.

The quarterly Mover & Shaker will be determined by the number of nominations and how they have positively impacted the Johns Creek community. Furthermore, each award winner will be automatically qualified for Johns Creek Business or Business Person of the Year Award.

Additionally, if JCA receives enough nominations for the same business throughout the year, yet that business did not win the Mover & Shaker award, those nominations can be counted together throughout the year for that business to qualify for the Business of the Year Award.
