Johns Creek Aquatic Team Brings Home 31 Medals

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Johns Creek’s young swimmers came home from the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association State Swim Meet on July 22 and July 23 with 31 medals, including six first place honors.

The Johns Creek Aquatic Team (JCAT) medaled in 21 individual events and 10 relay events.

Overall, the JCAT swimmers placed second in five events, and third in five events in the meet held at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center in Holly Springs.

This was the ninth year of competition at the state meet for the JCAT, the city’s state swim team, which fielded a total of 54 top-qualified swimmers from all over Johns Creek ranging from ages 7 to 18.
