Johns Creek Baseball Loses to South Forsyth
Gladiators drop region 7AAAA game to the War Eagles 8-4.
On an afternoon when everyone expected rain, none came as the Johns Creek Gladiators baseball team hosted the South Forsyth War Eagles in a Region 7AAAA matchup.
The Gladiators jumped out to a 1-0 lead in their half of the first inning, but that was the last time that Johns Creek led in the game. South Forsyth came back in the top of the second inning scoring five runs on five hits to go up 5-1.
The War Eagles scored two more runs in the fourth inning. Johns Creek went scoreless until the bottom of the fifth when center fielder Dylan Dore went deep over the left centerfield fence with a two-run homer making the score 7-3 going into the sixth inning.

Both teams scored one run in the sixth inning and none in the seventh, giving South Forsyth the 8-4 win.
Johns Creek is now 12-13 on the season and 10-9 in Region 7AAAA. South Forsyth moves to 11-14 overall and 9-10 in the region.
