The city held a ribbon cutting on Friday to mark the completion of the Parsons Road sidewalk project.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday to mark the completion of the Parsons Road sidewalk project.
Mayor Mike Bodker and city staff members cut the ribbon along one of the five completed sections of sidewalk along Parsons Road.
The project closed a gap in the sidewalk network between Abbotts Bridge and Medlock Bridge roads. The 5-foot wide and 8-foot wide sidewalk segments are along an elementary school walking route, and improve overall safety and walkability in the area. It also includes a lighted crosswalk between Stonegrove Overlook and the bridge over Johns Creek.
