The city said it wanted to give crews an additional day to restore power and clear road debris due to Tropical Storm Irma.
JOHNS CREEK, GA, -- The city of Johns Creek said its offices will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 12. This closure includes City Hall, Municipal Court and Park Place operations.
"City and county officials have decided to keep offices closed for one additional day as crews work to restore power and clear road debris as a result of Tropical Storm Irma," city spokesperson Edie Damann said.
Of course, Johns Creek Police and Fire department personnel will remain on duty and respond to emergencies throughout the night and into Tuesday. Residents are encouraged to closely monitor weather conditions and stay off the roads. Power outages, the city added, should be reported to one's utility provider.
