The Post 5 seat became vacant when former City Council member Kelly Stewart resigned to run for the State House District 50 seat.

For the past six years, Endres, a CPA, has advocated as a taxpayer of the city of Johns Creek at numerous of City Council meetings, work sessions and community town hall gatherings.

Each year she reviews the city budget line-by-line, and this year she completed a comparative study of four cities in north Fulton County.

In doing all this, Endres “has become an expert on the city, and has decided it is time to step forward to serve the citizens of Johns Creek,” according to her press release.

“We deserve good government through defined and measurable goals that are prioritized,” she added. “By energizing existing economic development, we can create business friendly opportunities. Our largest quality of life issue is traffic congestion and we need immediate solutions to alleviate traffic and infrastructure issues. Building sidewalks and borrowing money are not solutions.”

Endres and her husband, Mark, are raising three children and attend Saint Brigid Catholic Church.

Family and community are very important to Endres, and currently she is a board member of her neighborhood homeowners association, the leader of Daisy Troop No. 15402 and co-leader and treasurer of Brownie Troop No.14454.

She’s also volunteered with Cub Scout Troop 2143 in recent years. For those interested to learn more about Stephanie and her campaign, visit her campaign website.
