Johns Creek CVB Chair Releases New Book
Smith developed her financial philosophy at a young age after experiencing her parents develop a financial strategy with limited resources.

From LyndaLeeSmith: On August 7, 2018, Lynda Lee Smith released her latest book titled, “Beat the System…Create Your Own Pathway to Wealth.” The work has been underway for the last two years with perspective contributions being included from her husband, Doug. The completed work is now available as a free download on her website at LyndaLeeSmith.net in multiple formats.
Smith developed her personal financial philosophy at a young age after experiencing her parents develop a financial strategy with extremely limited resources. “I didn’t realize at the time what a privilege it was for me to listen and observe as my parents determined a financial course for their lives. They knew exactly what mattered most to them and they developed a fundamental strategy to achieve those objectives. As an observer, I was able to witness both the development and execution of that fundamental strategy based on hard work and discipline.” Smith recalls. Lynda set about developing her own life strategy immediately after college based on clearly defined parameters, intense focus and shear discipline. Her philosophy on wealth is both common sense and logic-based. She believes thinking any goal is “impossible” is simply a mindset to be overcome with a clearly defined strategy. Her rural Georgia roots combined with her global travel and experiences position her with a unique perspective on achieving optimal wealth and the pursuit of life dreams. Her first book, “Playing the Hand You Were Dealt…And Achieving the Body You Were Meant to Have” is currently being updated and expanded for release in late fall 2018. Lynda resides in Johns Creek with husband, Doug, and their 17-year old daughter, Lauryn. She has served as Chairwoman of the Johns Creek Convention and Visitors Bureau for the last four years. Her husband, Doug, was the founding president of the Johns Creek Civitan Club and daughter, Lauryn, is a senior at Johns Creek High School.
