The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children have a check-up with an orthodontic specialist no later than age 7.

The 15-minute screenings are being offered from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thursdays Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

“I’m really disappointed when options for correcting problems are limited due to patients waiting too long to seek orthodontic care,” said Dr. Ricci. “I want everyone to have as many options for treatment available as possible. Early detection and interceptive treatments are appropriate to address many issues from protrusion, crowding, diastema (spacing) and crossbites. When addressed early, this can save patients time in treatment and create a beautiful, healthy smile for a lifetime.”

Dr. Ricci’s office is located at 10475 Medlock Bridge Road Suite 114. For more information, visit www.ricciortho.com or call 678-417-9848.
