Johns Creek Encourages Walk To School Wednesdays

For the rest of the school year, Johns Creek is encouraging students to walk, bike, roll or ride the school bus to school on Wednesdays.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The City of Johns Creek is encouraging some of its youngest students to get outside as the weather warms up and walk to school.

This Wednesday, March 20, students at Dolvin, Ocee and State Bridge Crossing elementary schools are encouraged to participate in “Walk to School Wednesday,” which takes its first step towards reducing our carbon footprint and the level of congestion on the roads.

Every Wednesday, for the rest of the school year, the city is encouraging young people to walk, bike, roll or ride the school bus to school.
