Johns Creek Farmers Market Starts May 6

The market will run each Saturday through Aug. 26 at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- If you're looking for a place to pick up fresh, local produce and other handmade goodies, then the Johns Creek Farmers Market is sure to be one of the best locations accomplish that task.

The market will return for its 2017 season Saturday, May 6. The market will run each Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through Aug. 26 at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park.

You can expect to check out items from local farmers and vendors with organic and/or sustainable foods and produce. In addition to items such as tomatoes, lettuces, and squash, vendors sell a variety of hand-made goods, including flavored balsamic vinegar, free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, jams and jellies, and pastas.
