Johns Creek Farmers Market Starts Saturday

A wide variety of vendors will greet residents at the Amphitheater at Newtown Park from 8 a.m. to noon May 7 through Sept. 3.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Back by popular demand, the Johns Creek Farmers Market will kick off this weekend.

The market, located at the Amphitheater at Newtown Park, will set up shop Saturdays, May 7 through Sept. 3 from 8 a.m. to noon, and features local farmers and vendors with organic and/or sustainable foods and produce.

In addition to healthy items like tomatoes, lettuces, and squash, vendors sell a variety of hand-made goods and natural produce, such as flavored balsamic vinegars, free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, jams and jellies, and pastas.
