Johns Creek Hopes New Brand Encourages Community To 'Be The Exception'
The brand will be used by the city, Johns Creek Advantage, Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and the city's Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The city of Johns Creek, in partnership with Johns Creek Advantage, the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Johns Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau, has adopted a new, unified brand to use in marketing and economic development efforts.
The brand features colorful, award-winning ribbons “that reflect a community that celebrates its achievements across all walks of life,” the city said in a press release.
Its tagline — be the exception — ”invites people and businesses to be part of a community that is primed to succeed, where people aren’t satisfied with the status quo.”

“The decision to have a unified brand was a strategic one, driven by economic development,” said Johns Creek Senior Communications Manager Rosemary Taylor. “In the competitive reality of metro Atlanta – and more specifically north Fulton – having a consistent brand that immediately tells our story is very advantageous and will be even more so in the future.”
The new brand, developed by North Star Destination Strategies, will be gradually implemented by each partner over the next year.
