Johns Creek HS Band Gives Championship Performance of "Good vs. Evil"
Johns Creek HS Band was awarded the title of Silver Division Champions at the Creekview Classic for their performance of "Good vs. Evil."

JOHNS CREEK, GA—Good vs. Evil?? The Johns Creek High School Marching Band and Color Guard ponder that question while surrounding the trophy acknowledging them as the Silver Division Champions of the Creekview Marching Classic. On October 24, 2015 the Gladiators traveled to Canton, Georgia to compete in this marching competition where they performed their show “Good vs. Evil.” The Gladiators competed against several bands throughout the state of Georgia to receive this coveted award.

· Class AAA Straight Superior ratings for Band, Drum Major, Color Guard and Percussion.
Students lead the band and guard. The Drum Major is Joey Park. Assistant Drum Major is Brennan Blotner. Band Captains are Akhil Upad and Sam Ward. Woodwind Captain is Sadea Campbell. Brass Captain is Andrew Berry. Percussion Captains are Caitlin Strong and Jarleen Dong. Operations officers are Elizabeth Maksimik, Matthew Leonard, Armando Roche, Tyler Martin, Rama Samabatur, Emma Grace Crumbley. Color Guard Captains are Anna Park and Paige Innes.
The Gladiator Marching Band is under the direction of Al Estep, band director, and Marcia Laird, associate director. The Color Guard director is Alyssa Dickens. Percussion instructors are Will Kester and Morgan Crews.
The Gladiator band believes that these awards are yet another example of their motto: “the Pursuit of Excellence.”
