Johns Creek Man Charged With Pushing Wife Out of Car

The incident occurred March 5 along S.R. 400 just south of the Holcomb Bridge Road interchange in Roswell.

A Johns Creek man has been charged with allegedly pushing his wife out of a vehicle along S.R. 400 in Roswell.

Officers with the Roswell Police Department arrested Wildart Duverson, 33, and charged him with battery under the Family Violence Act.

On March 5, police were dispatched to S.R. 400 northbound just south of the S.R. 140/Holcomb Bridge Road interchange in response to a woman lying on the side of the highway.

According to a report released by Roswell police, officers were informed the woman was “pushed out of a moving vehicle.”

According to WSB-TV, the woman told officers she suspected her husband was driving under the influence. The vehicle pulled off to the shoulder and sometime during an apparent argument, the woman was shoved out of the car.

Witnesses stopped to help the woman, who reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Police were able to locate Duverson a short time later at his home in Johns Creek. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail on March 5 and remains there with a $5,000 bond.
