Johns Creek Named 2nd Safest City In Georgia
Safewise calculated its 2016 list by reviewing FBI Crime Report statistics from 2014, the most recent numbers available for a full year.

Johns Creek, GA -- SafeWise has released its list of the 20 safest cities in Georgia, and Johns Creek clocks in near the top of the list.
The city ranks second on the compilation, which was released Jan. 18.
Safewise calculates the safest cities by reviewing the most recent FBI Crime Report statistics from 2014, which is the most recent data available for a full calendar year. It also removed from consideration cities that have fewer than 4,000 residents or those who don’t submit crime data to the FBI.

“To further level the playing field, we calculated the likelihood of these crimes occurring out of 1,000 people in each city,” Safewise added.
