Johns Creek Police Blotter: Car Theft & Vehicle Break-Ins

The following arrest and incident information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Car Theft:

A resident on Alger Trace reported her 2005 blue Grand Jeep Cherokee stolen from her driveway on May 11.

A vehicle was reported broken into while parked at the Chattahoochee Nature Preserve, Barnwell Road, on May 9. An iPhone valued at $200 and credit and debit cards were taken.

A resident on Hepplewhite Drive reported his vehicle broken into on May 14. A GPS unit valued at $180 was taken.

A resident on Foxbrush Circle reported his vehicle broken into on May 14. An iPod valued at $100, a GPS unit valued at $120 and a wallet were taken.

Theft:

A customer at LA Fitness, 11720 Medlock Bridge Road, reported his wallet and car key stolen from a lock box on May 12. The victim stated that he had placed the lock box key in his pocket, but when he went to retrieve it, it was missing.

Drugs: 

Ashley Marie Matoni, 25, of Alpharetta was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession, less than one ounce, on Medlock Bridge Road on May 10.

DUIs:

John P. Caldwell Jr., 59, of Johns Creek was arrested for DUI on Magnolia Circle on May 9.
