Johns Creek Police Blotter: Diamond Necklace Stolen from Lifetime Fitness Locker

Here's a sampling of arrests and incidents recently reported by Johns Creek police. None of the persons named have been convicted of a crime.

DUIs:

Cody Scholberg was arrested for DUI on Fernly Park Drive on Feb. 9.

On Feb. 7 a Marietta resident reported her car broken into at El Potrillo Mexican Restaurant at 8475 Holcomb Bridge Road. She stated that she thought she forgot to lock her vehicle, and when she returned to it after eating lunch, her Toshiba laptop and a handbag with several books in it were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry or damage to the vehicle.

On Feb. 8 a resident on Donamere Drive reported her car broken into while parked in the driveway near her home. She reported that the driver's side window was broken and her GPS valued at $150 taken.

Burglaries:

On Feb. 7 a resident on Victory Gate Drive reported his home broken into via a back door forced open. He stated that two HP laptops, an X-box, $20,000 in jewelry and a flatscreen TV were stolen.

On Feb. 10 a manager at a business at 9700 Medlock Bridge Road reported that the rear door was pried open and $800 stolen from the cash register

Thefts:

On Feb. 7 a Suwanee resident reported that his mother's wallet was stolen out of her room at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. The wallet contained a driver's license, Social Security card, medical cards and credit and debit cards. The debit card had been used in Roswell, McDonough and Jonesboro since it had been reported stolen.

On Feb. 7 a Norcross resident reported a diamond necklace valued at $2,000 stolen from her locker while she was working out at Lifetime Fitness on Johns Creek Parkway.
