Johns Creek Police Blotter: Home Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Jan. 27 a resident on Boxford Place reported that her bedroom door was forcibly opened by an unknown person wearing a red coat or sweatshirt. The resident reported that she screamed and the person quickly shut the door. No items were taken. A window was found to have been forced open. Responding officers spoke to the next door neighbor, who stated that while she was walking her dog around that time she observed a black male hurriedly getting into a white, newer model sedan in the driveway of a nearby unoccupied house and rapidly leave the area.

A residence on Creekside Park Drive was reported broken into on Jan. 30. A handgun, laptop and numerous pieces of jewelry were reported taken.

A residence on Caswyck Trace was reported broken into on Feb. 1. A television, two laptops, a GPS device, iPod and Bose speakers were reported taken.

A residence on Bell Road was reported broken into on Feb. 4. Prescription painkillers were reported taken.

A residence on Lochan Cove was reported broken into on Feb. 4. An iPad and various pieces of jewelry were reported taken.
