Johns Creek Police Blotter: Home Invasion, Car Theft
The following arrest and incident information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Home Invasion:
On May 27 a resident on Park Chase reported that when he got out of the shower in the basement of his residence, he saw two men dressed in black with black ski masks in his father's office. The resident told them to leave, and one of the men hit him in the face with a metal baseball bat.
The resident chased the suspects, who may have taken a Toshiba laptop, from the residence. Police observed that the victim had visible lacerations and bruises on his face. He was transported to Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

The victim's parents were upstairs and did not see the suspects. The suspects are believed to have entered through the basement door, which was unlocked, and exited through a back door.
A trail of blood led out the back door into the woods behind the residence. A police dog was called to the scene to track the suspects. It is believed that the suspects ran into the Eagle Glen subdivision located behind the residence.

Vehicle Theft:
On May 24 a resident on Addison Lane reported her blue 2009 Chevrolet HHR stolen from the parking lot in front of her residence. The victim stated that her vehicle had OnStar, which was contacted and able to provide a location for the car. It was tracked to Kacoonis Drive, Atlanta, 30354 and was also showing up near Old Dixie Road and Southside Industrial Parkway. An address and description of the vehicle was forwarded to the Clayton County Police Department.
Burglaries:
On May 25 a resident on Timberstone Road reported his home broken into. An LG TV, HP laptop and cash were reported stolen.
On May 27 a resident on Indian Village Drive reported her home broken into. Nothing appeared to be taken.
Thefts:
On May 25 a customer at the Forum Athletic Club, 6000 Medlock Bridge Parkway, reported his wallet and keys taken from an unlocked locker.
On May 25 an employee at Whole Foods Market, 5945 State Bridge Road, reported that she observed someone placing six lobster tails and other assorted items into a black handbag before leaving the store without paying.
On May 27 a resident on Indian Village Drive reported the tag on his trailer stolen.
DUIs:
Jenebeth Ortiz, 50, of Roswell was arrested for DUI on May 28 on Old Alabama Road at Hunts Pointe Drive.
Drugs:
Bryan Diaz, 21, of Alpharetta was arrested for possession of marijuana, less than one ounce, and possession of a controlled substance on State Bridge Road at Jones Bridge Road.
