JC Police Blotter: Indecent Exposure Arrest

Indecent Exposure

On Sept. 8 the Johns Creek Police Department responded to a report of a nude male who was found walking through a cul-de-sac behind a residence on Crossington Road. The male proceeded to the clubhouse where he stood at the door with his hands on his hips before entering a car and traveling north toward Sargent Road. The male was stopped in his car. When the officer asked what he was doing, the male said that he liked to walk around nude in the cool air. The suspect, a Cumming resident, was arrested for public indecency and loitering.

On Sept. 6 employees at the , 5805 State Bridge Road, reported several sterling silver items stolen. Video surveillance showed a heavy-set white female, 5-feet-2 to 5-feet-5 inches in height and wearing glasses grabbing items from the jewelry section and stuffing them into her handbag before leaving the business and bypassing the cashiers.

On Sept. 10 an employee at , 9700 Medlock Bridge Road, reported two custom-beaded bracelets shoplifted. The employee stated that two women came into the shop and one distracted her while she believes the second woman, who was looking at the bracelets, took them.

Thefts

On Sept. 5 a customer at the, 6000 Medlock Bridge Parkway, reported her iPhone stolen while she was working out. She stated that she had placed the phone on a shelf near her.

On Sept. 8 shingles and other construction materials were reported stolen from the Johns Creek Commons construction site at 11000 Medlock Bridge Road.

On Sept. 10 a boat secured on the banks of the Chattahoochee River at a Stethem Ferry residence was reported stolen.

On Sept. 10 a purse containing credit and debit cards was reported stolen from a baby stroller at , 3150 Old Alabama Road.

Vehicle Break-Ins

On Sept. 8 a vehicle parked at , 9820 Nesbit Ferry Road, was reported broken into and cash, checks, credit cards and iPhone taken.

On Sept. 9 the Johns Creek Police Department informed a resident on Agate Drive that a GPS belonging to the resident had been found after the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department apprehended two suspects for entering autos.

On Sept. 9 a vehicle parked at , 9925 Haynes Bridge Road, was reported broken into and a bag containing sunglasses and phone charger taken.

On Sept. 10 a vehicle parked at , 3150 Old Alabama Road, was reported broken into but nothing taken.

Vehicle Theft

On Sept. 8 the Johns Creek Police Department's Special Investigations Unit located a stolen vehicle on Barnwell Road near Holcomb Bridge Road. Two suspects in the car were arrested. A crack pipe was located on the passenger side floorboard.
