Police Blotter: Target Shoplifters Arrested
Here's a sampling of arrests and incidents recently reported by Johns Creek police. None of the persons named have been convicted of a crime.

Shoplifting
On May 23 a Johns Creek police officer was dispatched to in reference to an alleged shoplifter already in custody. The store's loss prevention officers showed police surveillance video which showed the suspect entering the store, walking past a cash register and grabbing a plastic bag, and immediately going to the cosmetics section and placing items in the bag. The suspect was stopped by the loss prevention officers at the exit doors after bypassing all of the cash registers. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
On May 24 a Johns Creek police officer was dispatched to on a shoplifting call. The store's loss prevention officer had a suspected shoplifter detained. The officer said he had observed the suspect in the electronics department placing several XBox and PS3 games in his waist band under his shirt. He said that after the suspect paid for a cordless phone at the register, he stopped him as he attempted to leave the store with seven games hidden in his waist band. The suspect admitted that he was stealing the games to resell at a local used game store and that he had taken items from Target before. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Alpharetta Jail Annex.
