Johns Creek Police Blotter: More Car Break-Ins at Newtown Park
Here's a sampling of arrests and incidents recently reported by Johns Creek police. None of the persons named has been convicted of a crime.

DUIs:
Michael Darrin Sherrill, 20, of Cumming was arrested April 13 on Old Alabama Road at Jones Bridge Road for DUI and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Jamison Charles Hoffman, 18, of Johns Creek was arrested April 11 on Coles Hill Court for possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
Burglaries:

On April 16 police responded to a burglary at GNC on State Bridge Road. The glass to the front door was smashed and the door was open. The cash register drawer was open with an undetermined amount of money missing. File cabinets in the rear of the store was opened.
Car break-ins:
On April 13 a car was reported broken into while parked at Newtown Park. An HP laptop ($2,000), a leather computer bag ($200), a Mont Blanc pen ($300), heart medication and cell phone charger were reported stolen.
On April 16 a car was reported broken into while parked at Newtown Park. A purse ($100), $100 in cash and credit and debit cards were reported stolen.
On April 16 a car was reported broken into while parked at Newtown Park. A $50 Macy's gift card, $149 cash, credit cards and a checkbook were reported stolen.
On April 16 a car was reported broken into while parked at Whole Foods on State Bridge Road. A Toshiba laptop was reported stolen.
