Johns Creek Residents Get First Look at Design Concepts For The District
The city on Thursday will hold a public input meeting on plans to transform Technology Park into an "economic engine" for its future.
Johns Creek residents on Wednesday got their first peek at emerging design concepts on The District, an ambitious vision to transform the Technology Park area in Johns Creek into an “economic engine and a magnet for business, families and millennials,” according to the city’s press release.
People dropped in at a temporary studio setting at 11555 Medlock Bridge Road Suite 190 to chat with designers as they worked on plans, maps and renderings for The District.

Visitors also interacted with the designers, asking questions and offering feedback.
The public is invited to attend a presentation on the plans at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16 as a team led by Urban Design Associates, a multi-disciplinary firm of experts helping plan The District, discusses concepts to redevelop the 728-acre area centered around Technology Park.

Small group discussions will allow members of the community to share their thoughts directly with the UDA team.
