North Fulton High School Rowers Heading to Nationals
North Fulton Athletes Place 2nd in South East Region Advancing Team to National Championship.

Roswell, GA – St. Andrew Rowing Club (SARC) placed 2nd at the USRowing Southeast Youth Championships with their Women’s Youth 8+. The top 3 placements are invited to advance to the upcoming National Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
St. Andrew Women’s varsity eight is comprised of Madison Stafford (Walton High School), Isabel Castro (South Forsyth High School), Jillian Armstrong (Chattahoochee High School), Maddie ONeil (Walton High School), Elena Jerkovic (Centennial High School), Bri Brysacz (Blessed Trinity), Paris Burbine (Cambridge High School) and Grace Murdock, coxswain (Milton High School).
The USRowing Southeast Youth Championships were held in Knoxville Tennessee with over 45 clubs participating from across the South East. After a very successful Spring Season, St. Andrew Women’s Varsity 8 progressed through 2 days of rain, time trials and elimination rounds to ultimately place just 3 seconds behind the first-place team from Sarasota.

After practicing five to six times a week during their regular season training, this team has been running drills both morning and afternoons for the past month. According to Coach Jason Berric, St. Andrew women’s head coach “… it all comes down to readiness and this team has been working together for months. I am incredibly proud of their dedication and hard work. We have a great group of extremely talented women and I am very excited to be participating at the national level again with these ladies.”
The USRowing National Championships will be held this year down at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota Florida. SARC is excited to be competing against the top 25 Women’s 8+ in the country.

St. Andrew Rowing Club was founded in 1988 by the Georgia Tech Rowing program. St. Andrew Rowing Club includes Middle and High School Students from over 40 schools in the Metro Atlanta area. The SARC program is dedicated to instructing and training the best youth rowers in the metro Atlanta area. The boathouse is located at 675 Riverside Rd, Roswell, GA and the team practices on the Chattahoochee River.
