Johns Creek Seeks Feedback On Comprehensive Plan

Johns Creek will host public input meetings in eight parts of the city to get feedback on the draft plan.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Johns Creek residents who want to have a say on the city's future are invited to attend upcoming workshops to provide your take on the draft Comprehensive Plan. This plan is a document that will have an impact on the lives of every resident, as it seeks to protect residential neighborhoods and manage future growth and development.

The latest draft version of the Comprehensive Plan, according to the city, is designed to: preserve Johns Creek’s existing neighborhoods by reducing the number of new units per acre; form community areas with individual identities and to encourage more community involvement in what happens in your backyard; improve our transportation connectivity both along our roadways and pathways; provide premier parks and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities; and improve the city’s economic base by retaining current businesses and attracting new businesses that fit the character of Johns Creek.

The upcoming workshops are designed to provide a focus for each of the proposed eight Community Areas in the city, as defined in the draft plan.
