Johns Creek Students Named Coca-Cola Scholar Semifinalists
These students, along with about 1,900 high school seniors nationwide, are in the running for 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 each.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Nine students from Fulton County Schools have been named semifinalists for the 2017 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
These students are:
- Lavanya Chellam, Chattahoochee High School
- Hannah Franklin, Johns Creek High School
- Anshul Gupta, Milton High School
- Jonathan Johnson, Westlake High School
- Kendall Laws, Riverwood International Charter School
- Avanthika Ramesh, Milton High School
- Nitish Sood, Alpharetta High School
- Vivian Wang, Johns Creek High School
- Bill Zhang, Northview High School
These students, along with approximately 1,900 high school seniors nationwide, are in the running for 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 each.

Students are selected to advance to this next phase based on academic excellence, leadership and service demonstrated in school and community activities.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, a joint effort of Coca-Cola Bottlers across America and The Coca‑Cola Company, is one of the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship programs of its kind in the United States.
