Johns Creek Summer Concerts Continue With Shawn Mullins
The city of Johns Creek will welcome the Atlanta native on Friday, June 23 at Newtown Park.
JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Atlanta native singer-songwriter Shawn Mullins will bring his brand of music to Newtown Park as part of Johns Creek's 2017 Summer Concert Series.
The city will welcome Mullins, known for his rendition of folk rock, instrumental rock, adult alternative and Americana music, at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23. Mullins is a Grammy nominee and author of the 90’s chart topping hits "Lullaby," "Beautiful Wreck" and "Shimmer." Shimmer was used on the popular show "Dawson’s Creek," as well as to advertise the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
Mullins also co-wrote Zac Brown’s No. 1 hit, "Toes." His current album, "My Stupid Heart," is his ninth studio album.

Coming off a promotional tour of music festival performances, Mullins is wrapping up his U.S. tour that included stops in Atlanta, New York, Tampa and Washington, D.C.
Johns Creek concerts are free and this month, you can grab a bite to eat from the Patty Wagon food truck. If you're looking for something cold, King of Pops will sell their sweet frozen treats and if you'd like to enjoy an adult beverage while you rock out, Hurricane Grill will also be on hand to serve cold beer and wine.

For those looking for a little more room, you can purchase round tables for up to eight people under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200. Residents are asked to reserve tables as soon as possible, as they go quickly.
