Johns Creek Town Hall Meeting Set For Sept. 15
Residents will have a chance to learn more about the parks bond and the T-SPLOST referenda that will be on the Nov. 8 ballot.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- If you want to know more about two questions that will be on the November ballot for you to consider, then a town hall meeting planned for Thursday is the perfect chance for you to get informed.
Johns Creek leaders are inviting residents to attend the upcoming meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 15 at Johns Creek City Hall.
The parks bond referendum will appear on the Nov. 8 ballot. If approved by voters, the bonds would raise an estimated $40 million to implement the Recreation and Parks Strategic Master Plan adopted by the City Council in March.

If T-SPLOST referendum is approved by voters outside of Atlanta, the proposed the $.75-cent tax would raise about $569 million over five years.
Each city has identified an approved project list, including extensive collaboration with neighboring cities.
