Johns Creek United Methodist Celebrates 25 Years on Sunday
Two pecial worship services are planned, with a reception/open fellowship time sandwiched between them.
celebrates its 25th Anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 9, with a special morning of worship and fellowship.
Only two services will be held – at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. – and no Sunday school will be held, so adjust your schedules.
Here's the schedule at a glance, according to a release submitted by the church:

- 8:30 a.m. – Special Worship Service. Normal nursery available. Suggested time for early-rising families, as seating is tighter at the 11 a.m. service.
- 9:35 a.m.-10:45 a.m. – Informal time of open fellowship/reception. Stay after the early worship service, or come early to this and stay later for the 11 a.m. worship.
- 11 a.m. – Special Worship Service. Normal nursery available.
Both worship services will be the same, so church leaders say to feel free to choose either.

There will be refreshments in the chapel (with two serving lines) and also in Holy Grounds Café. There is no formal program during this 9:35 to 10:45 hour, so pick up refreshments and then feel free to spread out all over the building to help minimize congestion. (Parents, in keeping with safe sanctuary guidelines, please keep your children with you during this time. Only nursery for children two and younger will be available at 9:45 a.m.)
Commemorative JCUMC ornaments will be available for purchase in the chapel and also at the base of the second-floor stairs.The price is $10 for one ornament, or $15for two (cash or checks accepted). The number of ornaments is limited, so plan to get yours on Sunday before they sell out.
