Johns Creek Wins Award For 'Wall That Heals' Video

The video was a recap of the 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial's visit to the city in the spring.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek was awarded a 2017 MarCo Award for its recap video of The Wall That Heel exhibit earlier this year. The 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and mobile education visited the city in the springs.

Connor McFadden, the city’s video production manager, produced the Gold MarCom Award-winning video, which highlights the exhibit’s visit to Newtown Park. The Gold Award recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs.

MarCom is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professional, an international organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals. There were more than 6,500 entries from throughout the U.S., Canada and 17 other countries in the MarCom 2017 Awards.
