JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The Johns Creek Police Department will soon host its second annual Johns Creek’s Finest 5K at Shakerag Park.

The race, a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, will be held on Saturday, May 21. Race day registration starts at 7 a.m. near River Trail Middle School, and the race will kick off at 8 a.m.

The cost is $30 per participant, and sponsorships are $250.

Times will be recorded automatically and displayed at the finish line. Awards will be given to the top male and top female finishers for each age group.

Johns Creek’s Finest 5K is stroller- and dog-friendly. Following the race, runners can relax with healthy snacks and beverages. Participants receive a T-shirt and are automatically entered into drawings to receive gift cards from local restaurants and businesses.
