Johns Creek's Finest Returns To Shakerag Park

JOHNS CREEK, GA --The Johns Creek Police Department’s annual race benefiting Special Olympics Georgia will return to Shakerag Park next month.

The Johns Creek's Finest 5K will be held 8 a.m. Saturday, April 22. The 5K, a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, is stroller- and dog-friendly. All participating pups must be on a leash, however.

Those who register by April 15 will receive a T-shirt and participants will be entered into drawings for gift cards from local businesses.

Registration costs $30 and those interested can sign up for the 5K here.

Special Olympics Georgia seeks to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
