Johns Creek's Pup-a-Palooza Set For Sept. 12

Residents are encouraged to bring their furry, four-legged best friends to Johns Creek’s Pup-a-Palooza at Newtown Park next month.

The event will be held Sept. 12, and will also serve as a chance for residents to check out local vendor booths for treats, services and advice on pet care.

Does your dog look dashing in coat and tails? Does he have a special skill? If so, be sure to register for best-dressed and best trick contests for Pup-a-Palooza, a celebration of our canine companions.

Registration for both contests ends Sept. 4.

In addition to the contests, the puppy party includes music, and caricature sketches of people with their furry pals. For people, there will be free food and goodie bags while they last.

Pet care vendors will have booths to demonstrate new products and educate dog owners about pet care. The vendor registration deadline is Sept. 4.

Please make sure your pets are current in all their vaccinations so everyone comes home healthy and safe.

Vendor details:

  • Electricity is not available.
  • Only vendors approved to sell products may do so.
  • General liability insurance may be required.
  • The vendor fee is $50.
  • The City will provide a table and two chairs per vendor.
