Jones Bridge Road Widening Input Meeting Set For Jan. 19

The meeting will be held 6-8 p.m. at Johns Creek City Hall.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek will host a public input meeting on plans to widen a segment of Jones Bridge Road.

The city's meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at City Hall.

The project calls for widening the 1.5-mile section between Sargent to McGinnis Ferry roads from two to four lanes as well as installing a landscaped median and a 1o-foot multi-use trail on the west side of the road.

It also includes operational improvements to intersections such as turn lanes, revised traffic signals, and reconfiguration of the existing pavement to add two through lanes.

Residents are invited to view the proposed project plans, ask questions and provide feedback.

The informal meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. and you can drop in anytime during these hours.

While there is no formal presentation, engineers will be available to answer questions. Johns Creek City Hall is located at 12000 Findley Road.
