July Crime & Accident Roundup

Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.

Here are July's numbers as published in the newsletter:

Service calls: 6,111

Arrests: 147

Car break-ins: 4

Burglaries: 7

DUIs: 4

Traffic accidents: 137

The burglaries occurred at 6005 State Bridge Road, Seven Oaks, Merrimont, Century State Bridge Apartments, Amberleigh, Herrington Cove and Queensbury.

The car break-ins occurred at 9101 Barnwell Road, Cameron Forest, 11720 Medlock Bridge Road and 11045 Parsons Road.

According to the newsletter, the top five intersections for vehicle accidents were (1) State Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (2) Medlock Bridge and Abbotts Bridge, (3) Old Alabama and Medlock Bridge, (4) Medlock Bridge and Medlock Crossing, and (5) Johns Creek Parkway and Lakefield Drive.
