Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.
Here are July's numbers as published in the newsletter:
Service calls: 6,187

Burglaries: 11

Traffic accidents: 150
The burglaries occurred at 6375 McGinnis Ferry Road, Newtown Park, Montclair, Fairway Ridge Drive, Aylesbury Farms (2), Aviary (2), Johns Creek Walk, 6005 State Bridge Road and Timberlane.
The car break-ins occurred at 9101 Barnwell Road (2), Newtown Park (2), Brookdale, 11480 Lakefield Drive (2), 11555 Johns Creek Parkway (2), Cameron Forest, Seven Oaks, Cameron Woods, Riverwalk Marketplace, 5575 State Bridge Road (2), St. Ives Country Club (2), Cambridge, 10879 Jones Bridge Road, Rivermont Club (2) and Morningside.
According to the newsletter, the top five intersections for vehicle accidents were (1) State Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (2) Abbotts Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (3) Jones Bridge and State Bridge, (4) Medlock Bridge and Old Alabama, and (5) Medlock Bridge and McGinnis Ferry.
According to the police department, there were no fatalities in these incidents, with 21 percent reporting injuries. Most accidents happened on Saturdays at night in clear weather and were caused by following too closely.
