Lenten Fish Fry Hosted By Johns Creek Church On Fridays

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Lent continues through Thursday, April 18 this year. So it's time to start marking calendars for the fish fries sure to be held across Canton during the Lenten season.

Saint Brigid Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek, is hosting fish frys from 5 to 8:30 PM in Corbett Hall every Friday through April 12. All are welcome to dine in or drive-thru. Desserts are offered from the Circle of Sisters. The famous weekly “Chef’s Special Meal," pizza and beer/wine are dine-in only. Adults $10, children $5, and Family Meal special (2 adults + kids $30) Proceeds go toward supporting the all-volunteer ministry of the Saint Brigid Knights of Columbus, Council #13204.

Good Friday and all the Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence from meat for those 14 years old and older. They are also days of fast (one full meal and two small meals, with nothing in between) for adults 18 to 60 years old.
