Liz Hausmann Named Vice Chair of County Commission
The District 1 commissioner will serve in the post for the second consecutive year.

Johns Creek, GA -- For the second year in a row, Fulton County District 1 Commissioner Liz Hausmann was elected to serve as vice chairman of the Board of Commissioners.

Commissioners unanimously appointed Hausmann to the role at the board’s Jan. 6 meeting.
Hausmann, who resides in Johns Creek, is the first commissioner from north Fulton County to hold the post.

“I consider it a great honor to be selected by my colleagues to hold this post for a second time,” she said. “I truly appreciate their support in allowing me to hold this leadership position once again.”
Hausmann was first elected to the County Commission in 2012. She was elected in 2006 to serve on the first City Council for the newly incorporated city of Johns Creek.
Commissioner Hausmann is also a former member of the Fulton County School Board.
