'Love & Hip Hop' Star, Boyfriend Arrested In Johns Creek

Erica Mena was charged with possessing marijuana following a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, who was charged with criminal trespass.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — A domestic altercation between a reality TV star and her boyfriend led to police in Johns Creek arresting them both on charges related to what officers discovered during the initial encounter. Erica Jasmin Mena and Clifford Lewis Dixon, both 30, were both taken into custody and charged Friday, Oct. 12 after police were called to their home on Kelsey Place around 6:24 a.m. Mena is a cast member of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop New York."

Officers received a call of a fight on the upper level of the home. According to an incident report released by Johns Creek police, Mena arrived at the home a little after 6 a.m. and she began to argue with Dixon "over personal matters." Mena left the room and retreated to another bedroom in the house.

The report states that Dixon followed Mena, kicked in the bedroom of the other door and continued to argue with Mena. After speaking with two witnesses to the commotion, Dixon was charged with criminal trespass and transported to the Alpharetta Jail for booking.

While at the scene, the officers noted the smell of marijuana outside the home, and that scent grew stronger as they entered the residence. During the investigation, Mena allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana and "also admitted that there was more marijuana in an upstairs bedroom," the incident report states.

A search of the home unearthed marijuana in a glass jar, a baggie inside the drawer of the master bedroom, a spice jar in the kitchen, a marijuana grinder and glass smoking pipe and a small glass container with what cops believed to be THC wax inside.

Mena "admitted ownership" of the drugs and paraphernalia and was charged with possession of marijuana less than an ounce and possession of a schedule I substance. She was booked into the Fulton County Jail and later released Oct. 13 on a $6,000 bond. Dixon also was released Oct. 13 on a $2,500 bond.

According to TMZ, Mena also appeared in season seven of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta."
