McDonald's Honors Fulton Bus Drivers
To honor their hard work and dedication, McDonald's thanked many of the County's 820 bus drivers by providing breakfast.

From Fulton County School: During Fulton County Schools’ Bus Driver Appreciation Week, October 16-20, several members of the Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Operators Association visited the County’s North and South Transportation facilities to pay tribute to some unsung heroes in the community who often go unnoticed—the Fulton County School System’s bus drivers.
To honor their hard work and dedication, McDonald’s thanked many of the County’s 820 bus drivers by providing breakfast immediately following their morning shift.
“This was a wonderful surprise for our “unsung heroes” during National School Bus Safety Week,” said Sam Ham, executive director of transportation services for the Fulton County School District. “Our drivers were so appreciative. The food was delicious, the service and smiles were heart-warming, and the teamwork was exceptional! As one of our school bus driver’s said, ‘We Deserve A Break Today’ and we thank our local McDonald’s Owners/Operators, for providing the delicious break.”
