Movies at Newtown Park Continue With 'The Good Dinosaur'

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- The city of Johns Creek's summer programming is in full swing, and you would be hard press to miss the next installment of its Movies at Newtown Park series.

The second installment returns Saturday, June 9 with "The Good Dinosaur."

The film, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, is set on a fictional Earth in which dinosaurs never became extinct. The plot follows a young Apatosaurus named Arlo, who meets an unlikely human friend while traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape.

The movie features the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A.J. Buckley, Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand and Steve Zahn.

Movies at Newtown Park are free, and include pre-show entertainment such as an inflatable moonwalk, face-painting, children's activities, giveaways, music, food and drinks. These pre-show activities begin at 7 p.m.

The movies start at dusk and are shown on a large inflatable screen. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and relax as they watch the movie. No alcohol or pets are allowed.
