A national real estate brokerage website has ranked Johns Creek the second best Atlanta Suburb for Families.

San Mateo, Calif.-based Movoto analyzed data on schools, crime rates, monthly housing costs and other factors for 28 metro-Atlanta suburbs.
Schools in Johns Creek ranked 10 out of 10, and also received high marks for having one of the lowest crime rates of any place the firm looked at. Johns Creek also placed high for income and low unemployment.

The ranking, released last week, touted the variety of home styles available and recreational opportunities in Johns Creek. Movoto also mentioned the Johns Creek Community Garden, the Farmers Market, as well as events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Movies at Newtown Park.
In 2014, Movoto ranked Johns Creek as the Safest Place in Georgia. You can view the 2015 rankings on Movoto’s website.
