National Drug Take-Back Day On Saturday in Johns Creek
Residents can anonymously dispose of unwanted, expired or unused pharmaceutical drugs Oct. 22 at Target.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Residents can safely discard of their expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical drugs on Saturday during the Drug Enforcement Administration's 'National Take Back' initiative in Johns Creek.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct.22, anyone with expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medicines can turn them in anonymously for safe disposal to officers stationed in the parking lot of Target at 5950 State Bridge Road.
Please note that needles and fluids will not be accepted.

The event, sponsored by the Johns Creek Police Department in conjunction with the DEA, is designed to reduce prescription drug abuse; reduce the risk of prescription drugs entering the water; and help people comply with the law regarding the disposal of prescription drugs.
