New Executive Director Joins Leadership Johns Creek
Kris Custis has been tapped to lead the organization, which is entering its 10th year of service to the community.

JOHNS CREEK, GA —Leadership Johns Creek is marking 10 years as an active participant in the Johns Creek community with a new executive director. Kris Custis, who has lived in Johns Creek with her husband and three children for many years, has been tapped to lead the organization.
Her professional portfolio includes various sales, marketing and management positions with M&M/Mars Candy and Colgate-Palmolive. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and an MBA.
Contributing to the community has been a passion, as she has served as a PTA president, Jr. Titans Board vice president, community outreach vice president, cheer coach, Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader and in other volunteer positions in the city. In addition, two of her children are also graduates of Student Leadership Johns Creek. Custis said she's excited to bring her knowledge of business and nonprofits to Leadership Johns Creek as the program enters its second decade of service to the community.

"Leadership Johns Creek has been so fortunate to have Lynn Canty as executive director for the past two
years," the organization added. "She has worked tirelessly with the class participants to bring many valuable community projects, including the upcoming Johns Creek International Festival, to Johns Creek residents. Lynn is also a graduate of Leadership Johns Creek - we thank her for her devotion to our community."
