Northview Student Appointed To U.S. Military Academy
The appointment of Dhyuti Gopalakrishna to the academy, which is also known as West Point, was made by U.S. Sen. David Perdue.

From SLJC:Student Leadership Johns Creek class of 2019 member Dhyuti Gopalakrishna, a senior at Northview High School, recently received a prestigious appointment to West Point. The appointment was made by Senator David Perdue. Dhyuti went through a rigorous interview process and competed with many students from across Georgia for this highly coveted appointment. After receiving the appointment, she then had to go through the application process and physical testing components required by West Point. Dhyuti will be reporting to the United States Military Academy in July 2019.
According to Executive Director Irene Sanders, “Dhyuti has been a valuable member of our program for the past two years – we are extremely proud of her.” Student Leadership Johns Creek is a competitive program that has been a highly-valued part of the community for over 7 years.
