That’s according to the Georgia Department of Transportation, which said one lane will close on the road from Buice Road to S.R. 141/Medlock Bridge Road so Georgia Power crews can install and change over new power lines.
GDOT says the closures will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday from Sept. 16 to Nov. 14.

The lane closure will result in delays, so motorists are strongly encouraged to find an alternate route. If you have to use this stretch of road, GDOT advises you to slow down and proceed with caution, as workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
