Old Alabama Road Traffic Shift Set For Tuesday
Traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed part of the road between Medlock Bridge and Buice roads.

JOHNS CREEK, GA -- Weather permitting, the Georgia Department of Transportation will roll out a traffic shift on Old Alabama Road on Tuesday, April 19.

Traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed northern half of Old Alabama Road between S.R. 141/Medlock Bridge and Buice roads. The traffic shift will allow the second stage of construction to begin on the southern portion of the project, GDOT said.
Preparation for the shift will start at 7 p.m., and the actual shift will take place around 10 p.m., GDOT states. The new lane assignments will match the current lane assignments.
