Parade Allows Pets To Strut Their Stuff at Johns Creek Arts Festival

The city's arts festival will return Oct. 25-26 at the Atlanta Athletic Club fields.

Along with the humans, pets can also get in on the fun by dressing up for the Pet Parade slated to take place during the Johns Creek Arts Festival later this month.

The parade will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26. Residents are encouraged to doll up their furry friends in its best costume, and strut across the festival stage for a chance to win “Best Costume,” “Cutest Critter,” or “Best of Show” awards.

The Pet Parade is open to the first 60 pets registered. Registration is free. All pets must be on a leash or in a cage.

The Johns Creek Arts Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Atlanta Athletic Club fields.

The fields sit directly across from the club at 1930 Bobby Jones Drive in Johns Creek.
